Joe Segal, An Extraordinary Life
Conceived and led by Kingswood Properties President Lorne Segal in co-operation with the Vancouver Board of Trade, this gala paid tribute to living legend Joe Segal, a successful businessman and philanthropist awarded the Order of Canada, Order of British Columbia and Vancouver’ highest honour, Freeman of the City.
Working in partnership with executive producer Martin van Keken, Founder and CEO of MVKA Productions, we handled every aspect of event communications, from developing a brand identity and designing advertisements to producing print and video collateral. We also provided communications advisory services to the gala chair in such areas as donor outreach, public relations and media sponsorship. The Joe Segal, An Extraordinary Lifegala drew more than 1,500 guests and raised more than $2 million for its charitable beneficiary, Coast Mental Health.
